Bling Bling =)

This was just toooo funny I had to share this one!
Our Primary makes a CD of all the Primary songs the kids need to work on through-out the year for our program.  Well for whatever reason EVERY day my kids put it on #3 Praise To The Man.  It is a beautiful rendition of the song, and they love it.
Today Gus asked what it meant to be matyred.  I said its when you are killed for what you believe in, and standing up for your beliefs and someone kills you. So he asks if that is what happened to Joseph Smith.  Anyways, it started this great conversation about standing up for ourselves and our beliefs and I was feeling like a good mom, and then.
Gus: So Mom, Joseph Smith did all that for some BLING BLING?
Me: WHAT?!?!
Gus: This song says he does all of this so he can show God his BLING BLING.
Me & Kensey: NO IT DOESN"T
YES IT DOES
NO IT DOESN"T
so we are sitting in the parking lot at the school by this point and we re-listen to the song.
Oh, Handsome Devil of mine, they say MINGLING WITH GOD.
OOOOHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I wondered why Joseph Smith was going to die for his BLING BLING

Ok, I have seriously laughed abuot this all day long. Now all night long.  I am sure Joseph Smith is in Heaven getting a laugh out of my kid. Yep, the gospel was restored so Joseph Smith could sport his BLING BLING =)
